Real Estate comes naturally to David Beer, a native Dallasite, and a second generation Realtor®. The Beer name has been synomous with Real Estate in the Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex for nearly sixty years. After a successful career in the restaurant business, David decided to return to his family roots. In 1983 he joined his father’s company, Beer-Litwin Realtors. Under the tutelage of his father, A. Robert Beer, David started his career in Commercial Real Estate.
In 1989, David decided to take his real estate career in a different direction, geared towards more personal client services. He accepted a position with Merrill-Lynch Realty, which within a year became The Prudential Texas Properties. After working for several years as a full service agent representing both, Buyers and Sellers, David chose to specialize in his Real Estate practice, and in 1993 became an Exclusive Buyer’s Agent. Practiced by less than 3% of all Realtors nationwide, David adopted his philosophy that a full service agent can not represent both Buyers and Sellers fairly, and certainly NOT in the same transaction. His belief is “An agent should work with the Seller, or the agent should work with the Buyer, but the agent cannot represent both Buyers and Sellers fairly. “
With that in 1996, David joined the firm of Buyers Resource Realtors, an Exclusive Buyer Company. He spent the next eleven years with Buyers Resource, perfecting his craft. Feeling the need to spread his “creative” wings, in 2006, David joined Century 21 Judge Fite Company. At that time he formed The Beer Team. Along with his partner, Cathy Carter, The Beer Team, now a FULL SERVICE REAL ESTATE Team, by offering seller representation by Cathy, with David continuing Exclusive Buyer Representation.
Anchoring The Beer Team since May 2008 is Amber Brewer, Real Estate Professional Assistant. Amber is the glue who holds this team together. Amber responsibilities include nut are not limited to keeping the lines of communication open between our clients and agents.
In May 2010, here we GROW again, with the addition of Joe Adamo, Realtor®. As the newest member of The Beer Team, Joe will be working with Buyers and Sellers including Buyers interested in Residential Investment Property.
David has been married to Taryne for 23 years; they live in Dallas and have two teenage sons Alex and Nate, and their dog Bentley.
